Freshwater Metadata Journal (FMJ)

Make your data visible to the world!

We have created the Freshwater Metadata Journal with the aim to easily publish freshwater (biodiversity) related metadata and to bring about a change of perception regarding data publishing in the freshwater scientific community.

After entering information about your specific dataset in the Freshwater Metadatabase a fully automated process allows the publication of these data as a scientific paper in the Freshwater Metadata Journal and therefore helps you saving time, while creating additional attention for your work.

After a review process your article is assigned a digital objective identifier (DOI) and made accessible on this website. Your dataset information is then easily traceable and citeable like any other scientific article and will help you increase recognition for your work.

The content of FMJ is fully electronic and Open Access. Metadata provider publish their data in FMJ without paying any fees or charges and readers access the content for free.
